The History of Nilfisk

Nilfisk was first founded in Denmark in 1906, by Peter Andersen Fisker and Hans Marius Nielsen. Originally it was named Fisker & Nielsen, and produced electrical engines for a wide range of products including drilling machines, ventilators, and the motorcycle. Their first vacuum cleaner was developed in 1910, after which they chose to focus on this successful product. By 1954, the company had sold over a million of their vacuum cleaners. It was in 1994 that the name changed to Nilfisk.

Currently Nilfisk supply a number of professional cleaning products, as well as domestic units, around Europe. This includes high pressure washers, floor care equipment, vacuum cleaners and more.

Nilfisk also supply a wide range of cleaning detergents and utensils to supplement their equipment. This includes detergents that are designed to be used with high pressure washers to break down dirt as quickly as possible. They are suitable for most kinds of dirt and surfaces.

Pressure washers are designed for every kind of cleaning application, including farms, patios, industrial applications, road hauliers and automotive repair. They range in their pressure value from 100 to 230 bar, and are powered by electricity, petrol and diesel.

Cold Water Pressure Washers – Nilfisk has a number of cold water pressure washers that are mobile as well as providing high quality cleaning power, ergonomic designs and low levels of noise.

Hot Water Pressure Washers – There are a range of hot water mobile pressure washers that are all made to be robust and durable with high cleaning standards.

Professional Pressure Washers – These are designed for stationary use, both hot and cold, and can be used in a number of different circumstances.

Professional Low Pressure Washers – These washers are mobile, featuring the ability to clean spare parts in workshops and garages to reduce the risk of breathing in any hazardous dust.

Independent Pressure Washers – These are driven by either diesel or petrol and provide high pressure even when there is no electricity supply available. They are designed for even the toughest cleaning uses.
